Yoooooooo….. check out this sick video by Jay Choi. The first time I watched this I was absolutely amazed at his creativity and talent. Then, I was amazed at what someone could do with just a regular digital camera, a white board, and a washable marker.
This piece is an animation translation of Shane L Koyczan’s Hardship Man. I’m told the author actually contacted him congratulating him on his work and then asked him to work with him for his next project!
Jay is actually a friend of mine going into aviation, but his work is really impressive. It really goes to show you it doesn’t take a lot of fancy equipment or money to do really great work… just keep pushing the limits of your mediums and equipment.
